Dot's Diner
Privacy Policy
Last updated 7 October 2026
This website does not track you. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, serves no advertising, and does not build a profile of your visit. There is nothing to opt out of, which is why you were not shown a cookie banner.
What this site collects
Nothing. There is no contact form, no newsletter signup, no account and no comment section on this site. We do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number or payment details anywhere on these pages.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, which commonly include the IP address of the device making a request, the time of the request and the page requested. These logs exist to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.
Third parties
Three things on this site are served by other companies. Each one has its own privacy policy, and once you leave this site or load their content, their terms apply rather than ours.
- Google Maps. The map on the Visit section does not load until you press the button that asks for it. If you never press it, Google is never contacted and sets no cookies. If you do press it, Google will receive your IP address and may set cookies.
- Toast. Our online ordering links take you to Toast, which runs the pickup ordering and payment. Anything you enter there, including payment details, is handled by Toast and not by us.
- Facebook. Our Facebook link takes you to Facebook. We do not embed Facebook pixels, like buttons or scripts on this site.
Fonts and images
All fonts and images are served from this site's own server. No font or image on these pages is fetched from a third party, so no third party learns your IP address from simply loading the page.
Global Privacy Control
Because we do not sell or share personal information and run no targeted advertising, there is no sale or sharing for a Global Privacy Control signal to opt out of. We honour the signal regardless.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Your rights in Colorado
The Colorado Privacy Act applies to businesses that control or process the personal data of at least 100,000 Colorado consumers in a year, or 25,000 while deriving revenue from selling that data. A single restaurant does not meet either threshold, so Dot's Diner is not a controller under that Act. We have written this policy to the same standard anyway, and because this site collects nothing, there is in practice no personal data for us to access, correct, delete or port.
Changes
If this site later adds a form, a booking tool or analytics, this page will be updated before that change goes live.
Contact
Questions about this policy can go to the restaurant directly at (303) 449-1323, or 2716 28th Street, Boulder, Colorado.
This page describes how the website works. It is not legal advice.
